Yoga as Inspiration

I've been practicing yoga for about five years now. The first three years I spent most of my time in studios, starting with hot yoga and then moving to more "fitness" oriented yoga classes at the YMCA in Norfolk where I met John. Little did we know that those few and short elevator and after class conversations would eventually turn into a creative business partnership.

Yoga is a practice that provided relief for both of us; from the stress of a busy day, worries over the future, or a break from our ever churning creative visions. It helps us reset and then the creative flow comes more organically. 

As John preps for his Unwind with Yoga class at My Yoga Spirit this weekend, he reminisces on one of the first classes he took, years ago, and subsequently wrote about and had published:
